Let´s do GOOD together!

Valtteri Bottas Duathlon does good and donates money to charity. Each year, at least 10,000€ together with a charity partner, have been donated to various sites. Primarily projects promoting sports or projects in the vicinity of Nastola are selected as donations.

Environmental responsibility

We also want to do good for the environment and that is why Valtteri Bottas Duathlon has a one-minute time penalty for those who throw trashes into nature. In addition, in 2019, together with Loiste Energia, we reduced the carbon footprint of the event by 8,500 kg CO2e.Emission rights were acquired with Co2Esto Oy.

We reserve the right to make changes.

Where I come from has always meant a lot to me. Nastola provides excellent opportunities for sports, and the location is excellent. I am happy to show where I’m from. I appreciate my roots.

For a couple of years now, I’ve been thinking about a sports event of my own. My own way of life is athletic, and I am a big fan of sports. The event was chosen to be an off-road duathlon, and I definitely wanted it to take place in my home town, Nastola. The aim is to create a nice event with a relaxed atmosphere – not forgetting a decent competitive spirit. It would be great if formula one fans and people from Finland and abroad came to see where I’m from. Sports is such a great thing that I hope that this race, too, will encourage people to exercise more. The race will be a family event.
